We address the 3D shape alignment problem via continuous PCA and the exhaustive axis labeling and reflections. We find that the most propitious 3D distance transform leading to discriminative subspace features is the inverse distance transform. Our performance on the Princeton Shape Benchmark is on a par with the state-of-the-art methods. ©2009 IEEE.Computer engineeringSubspace-based techniques for retrieval of general 3D modelsÜç boyutlu modellerin veritabanlarında aranması için altuzay teknikleriConference proceedinghttps://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-70350334772anddoi=10.1109%2fSIU.2009.5136481andpartnerID=40andmd5=1087b2592fc13efc1ab3213fd5e6d470N/A9362
