This can be in the form of angulation, translation, rotation or length. The purpose of analysis is to report the magnitude and direction of a deformity or combination of deformities in a patient. To achieve this goal, we should have the standard values of the normal anatomy and a standard radiologic survey to work on. This chapter covers the description and basic components of a deformity and principles to obtain appropriate radiologic imaging for analysis.
