Abstract

This chapter explores the effects of Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic on patients with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Firstly, the phenomenology of OCD is presented. Then, this chapter explains how and why OCD patients are expected to be affected by Covid-19. The limited literature about the association between OCD and Covid-19 is summarized. Additionally, this chapter advocates that the prevalence of OCD will be increased due to Covid-19 pandemic.
