This article reports on a case of a 24-year-old woman who experienced persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD) as a symptom of a central nervous system demyelinating disorder. The woman had no significant medical history and did not use any medications. Neurological examination revealed hyperactive deep tendon reflexes and occasional urinary incontinence. MRI scans showed demyelinating plaques in the brain and spinal cord. The article highlights the importance of considering central nervous system demyelinating disorders in cases of PGAD, especially in young women with upper motor neuron signs.
