dc.description.abstractPreexisting corneal disease can be exacerbated by cataract surgery and may prevent well tolerated cataract extraction. Thisarticle describes how corneal epithelial, stromal, endothelial disease may impact and be impacted by cataract surgery whilehighlighting recommendations for perioperative management and surgical technique.
