The data presented in this article are related to the research articleentitled “Behcet Disease serum is immunoreactive to neurofila-ment medium which share common epitopes to bacterial HSP-65,a putative trigger” (Lule et a. 2017). The immunoreactivity toself-antigens is well characterized for systemic lupus erythema-tosus (SLE) and multiple sclerosis (MS) (Magro Checa et al., 2013). Indirect immunofluorescence labeling of the mouse tissuesections with patient sera has recently been popular to discovernovel epitopes and gain mechanistic insight to diseases withdysregulated immunity (Lennon et al., 2004). The presentarticle demonstrates widespread labeling of cell nuclei with SLEpatient sera and sporadic filamentous labeling along the axonswith MS patient sera on mouse brain sections. The filamentousimmunolabeling was sometimes associated with cytoplasmicstaining of cells, which sent processes along the axon bundles
