Abstract

Polytropos is a two-volume honorary collection dedicated to Professor Nikolaos Chr. Stampolidis, recognizing his contributions to archaeology, higher education, and cultural heritage. Edited by Manolis I. Stefanakis, Mimika Giannopoulou, and Maria Achiola and published by the Mediterranean Archaeological Society in 2023, the work contains 76 original scholarly contributions spanning approximately 1,250 pages. The title, derived from Homer's epithet for Odysseus ("polytropos" – resourceful, versatile, and widely traveled), reflects Stampolidis' broad scholarly interests and influence.
