Abstract

A drone agent can benefit from exhibiting social cues, as introducing behavioral cues in robotic agents can enhance interaction trust and comfort with users. In this work, we introduce the development and setup of a responsive eye prototype (DroEye) mounted on a drone to demonstrate prominent social cues in Human-Drone Interaction. We describe possible attributes associated with the DroEye prototype and our future research directions to enhance the overall experience with social drones in our environment.
