Abstract
Transgender women are disproportionately affected by sexually transmitted infections (STIs), likely shaped by trauma. In 105 participants, multiple trauma subtypes were linked to lower HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis awareness, lifetime STI history, and recent STI testing. Trauma may contribute to the ongoing STI burden in this population.
