dc.description.abstractWe demonstrate efficient white LEDs by using the combination of green-emitting near-unity quantum dots with red-emitting nanorods. Stokes-shift in red via dot-to-rod transition reduced absorption losses and led to a high quantum efficiency of 42.9%.
