Abstract
This study focuses on the production of polyaniline (PANI) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) based composite films and their performance as bioelectrodes in an artificial sweat environment. The electrode surfaces were modified to improve the surface binding ability of various functional groups suitable for biological sensing systems. Thick films, with or without functional groups, were deposited by electropolymerization onto PET (polyethylene terephthalate) substrates coated with tin-doped indium oxide (In2O3:Sn or ITO) to produce flexible conductive polymers. Structural analyses of films were examined with RAMAN and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Ionic transport mechanisms and surface sensing performance of copolymer, produced as thick films, were primarily investigated in an artificial sweat environment. Analysis of ionic transport abilities were presented with AC impedance spectrometry equipped with 3-electrodes
