dc.description.abstractThe effect of femtosecond laser pulse parameters on ultrafast magnetization dynamics in Nickel films is modeled. For Gaussian laser pulse (unlike sinc), Ni recovers its magnetization in one picosecond within an optimal laser fluence range.
