| dc.description.abstract | In recent years, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) have received much attention, especially in wireless communication. Their quasi-passive architecture and ability to enhance the capacity and coverage of wireless networks by smartly altering the propagation environment without consuming additional time, frequency, and energy resources made them a favorable candidate for future wireless communication systems. Inspired by these unique features of RISs, the motivation of this paper is to analyze and adapt RIS technology to an electronic warfare (EW) environment. Our research shows that various ECM techniques can efficiently be executed with RISs and FM-RISs against FMCW radars. | |
