Study question How frequently should serum AMH measurements be repeated to optimize the accuracy of models predicting oocyte yield? Summary answer AMH measurements older than 3 months are associated with reduced predictive accuracy and using older measurements is associated with greater overprediction of oocyte yield. What is known already The ability to accurately predict oocyte yield from an ovarian stimulation (OS) cycle is paramount to decision-making in reproductive medicine. Several models exist, but accuracy remains limited and margins of error wide. It is imperative to understand the intricacies of each measurement introduced into these models. Some, such as age at start of the cycle, are consistently measured and accurate in their timing, whereas others, such as AMH, vary in regard to the interval between measurement and cycle start. We sought to better understand the effect of time from AMH measurement to OS start on oocyte yield.
