Abstract
We present the first demonstration of a room-temperature, continuous-wave, femtosecond laser written channeled Er3+:LiYF4 waveguide laser operating at 2810 nm which is upconversion pumped near 1.5 µm with a threshold pump power as low as 93 mW. © Optica Publishing Group 2025 © 2025 The Author(s)
