Abstract

Subband full-duplex (SBFD) technology aims to enhance uplink (UL) capacity in 5G and 6G networks; however, it is significantly affected by cross-link interference (CLI), which degrades system performance. Accurate CLI measurement is crucial for effective interference mitigation, yet traditional methods such as wideband measurement and uniform subband partitioning (USP) fail to adequately model frequency-dependent interference. In this paper, we propose the non-uniform subband partitioning (NUSP) technique, where subband lengths are adaptively adjusted based on the frequency-dependent CLI trend, enabling more precise interference modeling. Simulation results demonstrate that NUSP outperforms WB and USP techniques in CLI estimation accuracy.
