dc.description.abstractIn this paper I revisit a glass female figurine discovered during the Tell el-Mutesellim (Megiddo) excavations at the beginning of the 20th century and exhibited in the Istanbul Archaeology Museums collection since 1904. A detailed analysis and interpretation of the artefact are presented in light of recent research on glass of the second millennium BCE in the Near East.
