In this analysis, respectively, classical development theories, modernization perspective, dependency theory, world-system perspective, class-based development theories, neo-liberal theories, state-centered approaches, post-modern theories and globalizationist theories are considered and conceptualizations of state and society in each of these approaches are evaluated.
