Abstract

Sixty-nine-year-old male who was an ex-smoker with 30 pack-year history of smoking presented with a difficulty in swallowing and pain behind his tongue, an obstruction feeling in his throat, and 2 weeks old left neck swelling, without trismus, odynophagia, otalgia, new voice changes, change in his cough or sputum, hemoptysis, dyspnea, aspiration, or weight loss. He had a significant past medical history with coronary artery disease but has denied any chest pain, palpitations, or shortness of breath.
