dc.description.abstractWe have demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge, lasing at 1.37 mu m in a neodymium-doped tellurite glass host. the slope efficiency and emission cross section were determined to be 5.5% and 1.57x10(-20)cm(2), respectively.
