Abstract

The future sustainable growth of a country and its stability depend on how well it educates its youth to lead its business, economy and political system in a responsible way and on how well it creates an environment for new businesses to be developed and value to be created. Perhaps it is useful to recall that the topic of corporate social responsibility (CSR) includes a range of quite distinct, broad issue areas: from labor rights to human rights to environmental concerns, and from philanthropy to corporate governance to ethical business practices such as avoiding corrupt business payments (Garriga and Melé, 2004). All of these issues are very important for the present and, more importantly, for the future of an emerging country.
