Abstract
Dialectical thinking is about dealing with thesis and antithesis (accepting coexistence of opposites) to achieve a creative-integrative synthesis. This is the highest step of the cognitive development of the individual (Basseches, 1980). Dialectical thinking is a facilitator of both true science and effective psychotherapy, as well as the core principle of understanding psychotraumatology (Fischer &Riedesser, 1999).
